Back to Oklahoma again, but this year it was not for a graduation or a wedding, but "TULSARAMA" and the opening of a time capsule. It seems that 50 years ago, on Oklahoma's 50th anniversary of statehood, a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere was buried in front of Tulsa's City Hall, to be dug up 50 years later...June of 2007. Unfortunately, water had seeped into the concrete casket over the years, and "Ms Belvedere" didn't age well. In fact, she was a rusted-out shell of a mess. But the event was a blast, and seeing the family again was the best part. Oh, and if you haven't tried it yet, order a "BK Mocha Joe" from Burger King. Nothing like iced coffee in the summer...
