I just returned from a fabulous anniversary trip with my hubby. We drove across southern Minnesota and South Dakota to visit Mt Rushmore for the very first time. We figured we'd never live closer to it than we do now, so what the heck!

On the way we stopped at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD, and the infamous Wall Drug Store in Wall, SD.

We lucked out and saw Mt Rushmore just before it was covered in fog! We enjoyed our stay in Hill City, SD, and antique shopping in Rapid City.

I bought some Highland Grog coffee beans from this great little coffee shop in Hill City..yummm...
